Evin's Story
As told by his parents, Kevin & Becky
My
husband and I are extremely proud of what the DORE Program has done for our
nine-year-old son Evin.
Before DORE, life was a challenge on a day-to-day basis due to his emotional
instability, hyperactivity, short attention span, and various behavioral
patterns— schoolwork was a nightmare, and the list goes on.
After just completing the program in 26 months, Evin has been able to set goals
for himself and accomplish those goals. He has brought himself from below grade
level in all subjects to grade level and above. School has become fun instead
of stressful. He is now very aware of his emotions and can talk about his
feelings. He can focus on what he needs to and is quite responsible for his
age.
Evin has a love of sports and is a natural athlete. DORE has given him that
missing piece of the puzzle to achieving and excelling in all sports. Evin now
plays for two highly-competitive travel hockey teams for his age division in
both in-line hockey (Colorado Kodiaks) and ice hockey (Front Range Panthers).
The best part of this program is that it's 100% drug-free, and there is no
wondering if side effects will occur. It (the program) is simple exercises two
times a day for as little as 15 minutes, and the life-changing experience it
has given my son and our family is a remarkable joy.
